Drink Driving
NSW has strict laws about drinking and driving, with the legal limit for an unrestricted licence holder being 0.05 prescribed concentration of alcohol (PCA). The penalties for drink driving differ depending on the PCA, the driver’s traffic history and the way the offence is prosecuted. Unrestricted licence holders with a BAC of between 0.05 – 0.079 may be issued an infringement notice and an immediate notice of suspension for a first offence or a Court Attendance Notice. Any driver with a PCA of over 0.08 will be issued a Court Attendance Notice and an immediate notice of suspension. We will review the evidence against you, challenge testing procedures if necessary, and explore all available legal avenues to secure the best possible outcome for your case.
